CLODIAGH PLAYGROUND

Pursuing actions that positively impact
our community, our people, our environment.

In April 2009 a sub-committee of Rathgormack North Waterford Community Development Group was established to fund raise and develop a playground for the communities of Rathgormack and Clonea. After a number of public meetings in that same year consensus was reached that a site adjacent to the Hiking Centre was the most advantageous.

Over two years of intensive fundraising and planning took place in conjunction with Waterford County Council and Waterford Leader Partnership. With financial and other supports from both aforementioned agencies Clodiagh Playground was officially opened in November 2010.
