Rathgormack Hostel with the community centre is a purpose built hostel with accommodation for 22 people, the hostel and hiking centre are the ideal locations for exploring the many attractions of north County Waterford and South Tipperary.
The hostel accommodation in Rathgormack Hiking Centre is Fáilte Ireland approved. It is a dormitory style accommodation with space for 22 people in two separate rooms; larger groups can be catered for overnight stays in our large hall (we have had groups in excess of 70 people in the past). There is a self-catering kitchen with fridge/freezer, cooking facilities, and a microwave. A small sitting-room will allow you to rest after your busy day. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms with separate hot showers.

LOCALITY
Rathgormack is a village situated in north Waterford at the foothills of the Comeragh Mountains where there are an abundance of scenic walking trails to be explored. The Comeraghs contain many beautiful lakes and stunning scenery.
Rathgormack village itself consists of a school, our centre, a church, a child care facility, the local shop ‘Comeragh Stores’ and pub called ‘The Village’. The local atmosphere is extremely friendly so a warm welcome awaits you.
The hostel is open almost all year round, however we only cater for groups in the winter months. (November 1st to February 28th) Hostel is closed for Christmas. However, please get in touch if you have a specific query.

Please note: We do not currently have card payment facilities on site. At the moment we accept cash payment on arrival. We can also take payment by PayPal, please let us know in advance and we can issue an invoice.
The cost is €20 per person per night.
