New Website Launch
A new website will be launched this week by the Rathgormack North Waterford Community Development Group. The new website aims to promote the local community centre, Rathgormack hostel and the Comeragh amenity area.
The new website was made possible with financial support from the RTE Does Comic Relief under the ‘Demand for Digital Stream’ grant. The website will act as the shop window for anyone wanting to find out more about the local community with emphasis on the community centre, amenity area and the Comeragh Mountains. It also creates awareness of the local hostel (attached to the community centre) as an ideal base for exploring the mountains.
There is a page on the website outlining established walking trails of the Comeragh Mountains which can be downloaded for printing or can be used on smart phones.
A new logo has also been created to enhance the image of the centre. The new logo signifies, the community centre, Comeragh Mountains and the Comeragh amenity area. Livery is consistent with the Rathgormack traditional colours.
